I build complex web products and production AI systems.

Senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience across Vue, React and TypeScript. My strength is frontend engineering, with the full-stack experience to take features from early UX decisions through APIs, testing and production delivery.

Based in Greater Vancouver, Canada. Eligible to work for any Canadian employer without sponsorship.

02 — How I work

Engineering across product boundaries

I work where engineering, product and design meet. I can translate polished designs into accessible interfaces, but I'm equally comfortable starting with a rough brief, identifying the decisions that matter and owning the implementation across the API boundary.

My approach is straightforward: understand the problem, make deliberate trade-offs and ship something users value and the team can maintain.

[01]

product-judgment

Start with the user, the business problem, the constraints and a clear definition of what success looks like.

[02]

ui-ux

Build accessible, responsive interfaces with close attention to interaction, states and visual detail.

[03]

end-to-end-ownership

Work across frontend, APIs, data, testing and delivery whenever the product needs it, not just the UI layer.

[04]

pragmatic-engineering

Use AI across planning, implementation, testing and review, while keeping maintainability and judgment first.
